Inside a residential building in the historic centre of Palermo with an original layout dating back to 1890, Architect Piergiorgio Miserendino, owner of PM | ARCHITECTURE studio in Palermo, signs the renovation of a 180 square metre building belonging to a German entrepreneur.
The residence located in the historical centre of Palermo was the theatre for a long architectural and design programme that involved the entire building, defining it in every part with a careful material-philological restoration.
The singular style with a contemporary appeal focuses on a strong materiality, careful choice of selected raw materials and a colour palette of neutral and spicy tones that amplify volumes and reflect light.
Great attention was paid by the designer to the specificity of the materials: wood, glass, metal stone and concrete/resin.
Spaces with a strong personality follow the dress code of sinuous elegance.
Attention to the smallest details, a few calibrated presences, among designer pieces and custom-made furnishings, the flat is embellished with warm, soft and reassuring lighting.
A tailor-made project defined according to the needs of a client with great attention to detail.
The interior is dominated by a simple and sophisticated style in which the nuances of beige, browns and greys become a direct dialogue with the natural nuances of the original building materials.
