DATA PROVIDED DIRECTLY BY THE USER

Identification and contact data, as well as information regarding the type or areas of interest, imply consent for their use in order to send the newsletter as requested by the user.

Specific brief notices may be provided or displayed on the website pages prepared for specific services to draw the attention of the user to the processing of their personal data.

The data (such as the sender's email address, their phone number, and any other personal data entered in the subscription form, including country of residence and type of activity) voluntarily provided by the user will be used to send the newsletter as requested. This may also involve segmentation based on type and area of interest selected, ensuring that the user receives relevant and tailored information and/or invitations.

The user may modify their expressed preferences at any time by sending an email to privacyteam@linealight.com.

Personal data may also be processed, with prior consent, through automated tools (e.g., email and SMS) as well as traditional means (e.g., phone calls) for marketing and advertising purposes by the Data Controller. The user has the right to object at any time to the processing of their data for such purposes, which is optional, by sending an email to privacyteam@linealight.com.

Providing data is optional; however, refusal to provide data will make it impossible for the Data Controller to fulfill newsletter subscription requests.

The legal basis for processing is the user's consent to the processing of the aforementioned data, which is necessary. Consent is considered granted by checking the appropriate boxes at the bottom of the online form or on the request form if submitted in paper format. In the latter case, a full and legible signature is also required.

Data processing is carried out through computerized procedures (or telematic means) and paper-based media and may be performed by individuals, internal or external, who are specifically appointed, authorized, and committed to confidentiality.

The data is processed and stored using tools designed to ensure its security, integrity, and confidentiality by adopting appropriate security measures as required by applicable regulations.

Data is retained until the user requests to unsubscribe or indicates they no longer wish to receive the newsletter, which can be done by clicking the unsubscribe link included in each communication or through other periodically provided means. For processing purposes related to marketing and advertising by the Data Controller, data will be retained for up to three months following the last contact with the Data Controller, unless contractual relationships are established or until the user objects.

Collected data will not be disclosed, sold, or exchanged with third parties without the express consent of the user, except for communications to authorized third parties—committed to confidentiality or appointed as data processors under Article 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (such as companies operating in IT support, hosting services, web marketing, and telemarketing)—if necessary for the purposes described in this notice. A complete and updated list of data processors is available upon request through the methods indicated in this notice. Data may be communicated to competent authorities as required by law.

Personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

In particular, under the applicable regulations, the data subject has the right to:

1. Obtain:

   • Information about the origin of personal data, the purposes and methods of processing, the legal basis for processing, the logic applied in the case of processing carried out using electronic means, and, if applicable, the existence of an automated decision-making process and its significance and anticipated consequences;
   • Identification details of the Data Controller and any Data Processors;
   • Information about the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the data may be communicated or who may become aware of it as designated representatives in the territory of the state, as processors or as persons in charge of processing;
   • Information about the period of data retention or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine this period;
   • Access, updates, rectification, or integration of data concerning them;
   • Deletion without undue delay or restriction of processing;
   • Data portability, i.e., the transmission of data in a commonly used format readable by any device, and the right to transfer it to another Data Controller (where technically feasible);
   • Confirmation that the actions described above have been made known, as far as their content is concerned, to those to whom the data was communicated or disseminated, unless fulfilling this requirement is impossible or involves the use of means clearly disproportionate to the protected right.

2. Withdraw the consent given at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on the consent given before withdrawal.

3. File a complaint with a supervisory authority.

4. Object, in whole or in part, at any time, to the processing of personal data concerning them for purposes of commercial information, sending advertising material, direct sales, market research, or commercial communication.
