A Private Home
In the city, surrounded by greenery
A new villa in one of the residential districts of Madrid, surrounded by greenery and nature, far from the traffic and chaos of the capital. The perfect place to live with your family ... and perhaps to even enlarge it one day. It was with this in mind that the owners of the house chose this part of the city, known and much-appreciated also for the proximity to excellent schools.

Discrete lights with high performance
The house is a private villa of about 150 square metres, arranged on two floors and surrounded by a large garden of 200 square metres with lawn and an in-ground swimming pool. The construction was built from scratch and saw the use of different materials: from stone for the external walls to glass for the parapet of the large terrace on the upper floor overlooking the garden and swimming pool below.
The end result is a residence with an elegant yet discreet flavour that fits well into its surroundings and has been skilfully enhanced also thanks to a lighting project created ad hoc by lighting designer Oscar Abril Revuelta who, in agreement with the owners themselves, selected some of Linea Light Group's solutions.

The luminaires installed, all in a standard version due to the tight timeframe required by the owners themselves, were chosen with a twofold objective: on the one hand, they had to integrate perfectly into the architecture of the home, and on the other hand, they had to emphasise the different environments, both indoors and outdoors, while ensuring adequate lighting comfort.
Starting from the interior, the Tara ceiling light with its minimalist lines and recessed edge was chosen to illuminate the living room (the real star of the house). In the bedroom, corridors and common areas in general, on the other hand, Cob44 has been installed, the downlight with high performance thanks to its round structure that encloses an optical compartment in reflective aluminium from which a beam of light of the highest quality slides, guaranteed by the LED array source.
Great attention was also paid to the outdoor lighting design, conceived to emphasise the external lines of the home and the large garden that surrounds it.
For the entrance, the MyWhite applique was the solution that allowed for homogeneous and diffused lighting, while the Ardilla66 wall lamp in the dual emission version was used to emphasise the external facades on the ground and first floors.
To emphasise the porch, the Portik downlight is the solution that combines innovation and simplicity and is perfect for outdoor environments thanks to its 65 protection index.
Specifically for the garden, a "mix" of luminaires with high lighting performance.
Bond, used for the part of the garden located at the back, is the solution that provides unobtrusive lighting that is integrated into the environment. The light emitted, as well as highlighting the tapered shape of the lamp body, illuminates the portion of the area below in a circular manner, creating elegant and discreet atmospheres.
Shaker, on the other hand, is the spotlight chosen to highlight trees, thanks to the possibility of orienting it by means of a graduated bracket. Extremely resistant to atmospheric agents, it is the ideal solution for creating light orchestrations that enhance architecture and green areas.
Finally, for flowerbeds and green areas, the Blum bollard creates suggestive plays of light thanks to its diffused light.
