Oman: past, present and future

Omantel's new headquarters at the Irfan Business Park in Madinat, developed with the Omani tourism authority OMRAN, is the embodiment of the telecommunications company's mission: quality, sustainability and innovation. The result is an iconic exterior inspired by the Omani Massar, the typical Omani headdress. Once worn, after several overlapping shots, it is undulated just like the building's façade. Thus, a connection is established between the modernity of the group and the tradition of a people, representing the soul and form of Oman today and yesterday.

Customised lighting for Omantel HQ

The structure of the building externally is run by Rubber in Custom version. In choosing to go with the skeleton of Omantel HQ, Linea Light Group equipped the project with a control system that can also be used remotely. Rubber, in fact, is managed only by DMX, thus providing the ability to calibrate the intensity and colour of the product light at will, according to different needs.
Externally Ryo, a bollard with minimal aesthetics, contours the perimeter of the structure in single and double emission versions. Used to provide the correct orientation support for guests and users, Ryo ensures full freedom of movement after sunset, supported by Suelo. Uplight with 30° optics, it vertically illuminates and highlights the entire headquarter. In the fountain adjacent to the entrance, Linea Light Group provided Admiral for the lighting design. Equipped with AcquaStop® technology that protects the components and power cables by means of an anti-transpiration system, it is the ideal product for underwater environments.
