Aura Shopping Centre
Roman Lifestyle
Born from an urban redevelopment project with the aim of enhancing the former Fornace Veschi, the Aura Shopping Centre is a multifunctional shopping mall just a few steps away from the Vatican City. More than 60 shops, a hypermarket, a fitness & spa centre and a maxi bookshop live around the large central square, actively connected to the underground network. A four-storey development, where the top floor opens out into a view of the whole of Rome with a terrace devoted mainly to food. Unique spaces that make the Aura Shopping Centre the new pole of relaxation and shopping, immersed in a green area dotted with pedestrian paths.

Linea Light Group designed the lighting for the Aura Shopping Centre. Particular attention was paid to the outdoors: a careful study of the lighting scenarios and the various contexts made it possible to guarantee adequate lighting wayfinding throughout the day. For the indoor, the solution adopted allows a 360° enhancement of the retail experience.
Describing the structure from the outside, two products are the protagonists of the lighting in the Aura shopping centre. Installed in a vertical axis, Xenia RGBW stands out in the upper part of the façade, cadencing its geometry in a modular manner. Xenia represents a high-performance solution that can count on the reliability of OVP, ESD, TCS® and AcquaStop® safety systems and a wide performance range. Arcada marks the outer perimeter with its small size, creating a very precise arc emission. The resulting indirect illumination follows the path from bottom to top, leading to a perfect utilisation of the space by the customer. The profiles of the external handrails, as well as those of the imposing entrance and the bronzed frames, are accompanied by PU_C Plus, a strip solution with a flexible and adhesive circuit: easily adaptable, it can be curved or cut according to the architectural requirements of the structure. Thin 66 and Stick, minimal and resistant to impact and atmospheric agents, have been positioned in walkable and car transit areas such as ramps and car parks. To accompany the project, in the access part of the underground parking area, wired tubes branded Eral, a company part of the Linea Light Group that provides industrial lighting solutions, were installed. Inside the building, Fylo+ Direct stands out as the protagonist of the Aura Shopping Centre: a masterpiece of creative geometric applications provided by a product that makes its linearity a springboard for volumes and definitions of space.
