Indoor and outdoor lighting for the Gran Roma shopping centre

Located in the eastern quadrant of the city, directly connected to the Grande Raccordo Anulare, GranRoma is a multifunctional pole characterised by a modern architecture whose airy and well-designed spaces allow a pleasant and relaxing shopping experience. An imposing structure built on two floors, directly connected by a basement car park, GranRoma accommodates 55 shops on the ground floor and 49 on the first floor, which can be easily reached and visited. This is complemented by attention to the quality of materials, lighting and an innovative human approach to retail as a social hub of sharing.

Complete lighting by Linea Light Group to enhance the orientation and quality experience of the purchaser. Great flexibility, therefore, in the use of products with attention to functionality and their positioning throughout the structure. Quality of light and energy efficiency were the two cornerstones around which the lighting design was built.

The specific lighting needs, which differed for the various areas, were resolved using transversal solutions and products from Linea Light Group. Rollip_70, in a custom version with a 90° angle, profiles a continuous line to emphasise and delimit spaces with a perfectly uniform light emission. This is followed by numerous Anton_X, practical and flexible spotlights positioned throughout the structure, which tend to create a unique ambience, guaranteeing unparalleled visual comfort. On the first floor, greeted by the large black ceiling, thin Ice-Cut profiles create lighting scenes composed of many segments of light. An aesthetic twist, given by a dance of illuminated circles installed suspended at different heights, is provided by numerous Tour_PIs positioned in numerous areas of the shopping centre. Outside, several Rubber LED strips enhance the entrance while, in the car park, the products are branded Eral, a company belonging to the Linea Light Group specialising in urban-outdoor lighting.
