Lighting for healthcare environments: sobriety and functionality
FKT Poliambulatorio is a health centre of excellence located in the Venetian hinterland: it provides multiple specialist health services for physiotherapy, osteopathy and aesthetic medicine. The new premises are spread over four floors and include several outpatient clinics, a rehabilitation pool with hydromassage and two fully equipped gyms.

FKT Poliambulatorio's new, modern premises are illuminated with highly professional solutions for an optimal rendering of light, functional to the work and reception of patients, where the objective is to illuminate comprehensively without burdening the view. The lighting design implemented covers the reception and waiting areas at the entrance to the building, the connecting corridors, outpatient clinics and offices.
In the reception and waiting areas at the entrance of the building, Edith lamps recessed into the modular ceiling were used, which, thanks to the topLEDs source, guarantee an excellent level of brightness while keeping energy consumption low. In the long corridors we find the Creek system, which, with its recessed recessed spotlights, can effectively illuminate the passageway with no visible frame. In ambulatories, on the other hand, we find the Albatros pendant, with its discreet appearance and extremely comfortable light, which, together with the Clear used in offices, offers the full potential of OptiLight Technology: light is diffused through the PMMA panels that make them up thanks to a pattern of laser micro-etched on which the light refracts. When the lamp is switched off, the panel becomes transparent again and thus disappears into the environment: ideal for clearly illuminating work desks or the outpatient bed without disturbing.
