Naval Headquarters in Riga Baltic view
New, open-plan headquarters of the Vitol Group's Riga-based management centre. A company of Dutch origin, it manages global energy flows by moving bulk materials from source to customer as quickly, responsibly and economically as possible. Due to the expansion in recent years, the need for a new headquarters became more acute and was realised in this project.

Classic and expressive interiors without losing intimacy and functionality. These are the guidelines of the new headquarters of the Latvian Shipping Company on the eighth floor of the Place Eleven centre in Riga.
Everything has been designed to allow employees to work at their best: ergonomic tables, chairs, pleasant surroundings, high-quality materials, and acoustics that influence the overall office climate. All cleverly illuminated by the Angular LED projector complete with three-phase tracks. The architect was looking for light to be directed according to the client's needs in order to enhance certain details of the office, and in order to fulfil this request we proposed the Angular projector, which exactly met the architect's and client's requirements.
The design of this office aesthetically reveals subtle details and ingenious solutions. An open-office designed with a rationalisation of the rooms according to their use and utilisation, so that the executive area in particular is exposed to sunlight. In fact, the workstations have been placed close to the windows along the building's outer walls, in order to benefit from as much daylight as possible. The work area is revealed in neutral tones, while the common areas are more saturated with colours and furnishings. Much attention was paid to acoustics: the walls of the common areas were covered with acoustic panels and sound-absorbing felt was used for the meeting rooms. This reveals a Nordic approach, deeply rooted in a search for employees' psycho-physical well-being, both in the choice of materials and colours. 1,200 square metres of modern, elegant and functional offices, the aim of which is to create all aspects of a quality environment in order to guarantee comfort in the workplace.
