OMB Saleri
Technology and innovation for future development
Founded in 1980 in Brescia, Italy, OMB Saleri, a mechanical company that produces valves for gas handling in the automotive sector, has always been characterised by a strong drive towards innovation, not only in terms of production but also in terms of organisation. An entire team of experts is dedicated to creating state-of-the-art products for the aerospace, defence and cryogenics markets. For this reason it was decided to expand the headquarters with the construction of a new building, used both as a production area with technological machinery and as a management area with offices dedicated to design.

Lighting for new workspaces
The new building, which occupies a total area of 7,000 square metres, is connected to the existing old building by an external walkway on the first floor.
Inside the building there is a large 4,500 square metre warehouse organised with highly specialised machinery for the production of hydrogen valves; 1,500 square metres, arranged on two floors, have been reserved for management and operational offices and meeting rooms; finally, a large outdoor green area of 1,500 square metres has been set aside for the wellbeing of the workers.
Characterising the new work spaces, both inside the offices and outside, is a lighting design that is attentive and meticulous down to the smallest detail, characterised by the use of innovative, high-performance fixtures, capable of satisfying the various design requirements.
A precise lighting design to allow workers to work with the best lighting comfort and at the same time highlight the modern lines and architecture of the building, without being intrusive. With this in mind, Linea Light Group luminaires were chosen which, thanks to their versatility and ease of installation, proved to be the perfect solution.
In the office area, a variety of solutions were used: on the ground floor, the Rollip60 system was chosen to illuminate the operative offices, while the Clear system was installed in the open-plan offices on either side of the passageways, which in turn were illuminated with the Modus modular suspension system used in its many variations and with different accessories.
For the lighting of the small meeting rooms located on the second floor, alongside the Modus suspensions, once again declined with ad hoc solutions thanks to the different accessories available, the elegant style of the Mini Albatros was chosen, transparent and light suspensions which, thanks to OptiLight Technology™, guarantee optimal visual comfort when switched on, disappearing completely from view when switched off.
Great attention was also paid to outdoor lighting, where the Vedette wall lamp proved to be the most effective solution. Thanks to its minimalist design, in fact, it is able to emphasise not only the modern, linear architecture of the building, but also the garden and the transition areas between the old and the new building. Installed in both single and double emission, the wall light creates very suggestive lighting atmospheres.
Finally, the Rubber LED strip, inserted in the new D-Wave profile, used to light the flowerbeds and Dirigo, the linear element used to light the walkway connecting the building to the garden.
